This piano was bought new by the nuns at Presentation College, Windsor and had been in the convent since 1900 until purchased by us 12 months ago to begin restoration. A new model Bechstein of this size now costs well in excess of $150,000.00.
This is a rare and beautiful musical instrument in both touch and tone with all Bechstein features. It is unlikely that there would be more than a handful of this model in Australia.
